Rowena Schoo is Policy and Government Relations Manager at Nominet UK where she engages with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that .UK is a trusted and innovative namespace with policies that are responsive to the expectations of the UK internet community. Before joining Nominet, Rowena worked as a civil servant for the UK Government in the Department for Digital, Media, Culture and Sport. She has over a decade of policy experience in a variety of contexts, including digital, healthcare, education and sustainability. She holds two degrees — Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (International Relations & Political Science) from the Australian National University. She is a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for digital technology and the benefits it can bring to society.
